Our well supported Drab & Dress groups continue to meet every 1st Wednesday and 3rd Tuesday of every month without fail.

PLEASE NOTE - severe weather may prevent meetings but this will be advertised on our home page, tvchix, twitter and Facebook with as much notice as possible so do check our pages for updates. You can also text us on 07518 419392 and we will update you.

This group is one of the friendliest, safest and fun groups you will ever experience!! We are here to support you whatever your situation. The power of a peer support network is incredible! Come and be a welcome part of this one....

Exciting events!

Come along to an event aiming to put the FUN into fundraising!!  We are hoping this event will be well supported by all sections of the community and lead to some serious social networking!

It has been traditionally difficult for trans folk to socialise in a safe environment, make friends and perhaps meet that special someone. Not that we can give any guarantees but we are hoping for a good turnout to raise funds for TG PALS, and for people to come along and join in the spirit of the event.

You will see this event advertised on our Facebook page (Drab & Dress TG Peer Support Group, and on tvchix.com as we would like to open this event to anyone interested in making new friends and contacts in a safe, social manner.

See you there?? It's a great cause to support!!

TG PALS 'living library events' in Margate & Dover, 4th & 7th December 2012.

We will be taking part in local Gateway events called 'Do Something Different' which encourage people to think about New Years resolutions, making changes and doing something different that will enrich their communities, families or selves.

We are participating in the full spirit of these events by bringing a transgender 'living library' to the people of Kent! What is this all about? Well....

Titles will be on display and may be signed out. This 'human book' will then spend some time talking to the person who took the 'book' out, bringing their story to life and sharing what it is like to be trans.

We hope to raise awareness of our human similarities and trans differences and the issues we and our families face every day trying to go about our daily lives, with honesty, compassion, humour, respect and dignity.

Come along and 'sign out' a 'book' for yourself. You just might find it a fascinating 'read!
